Make or Break

Dedicated for couples who have gone into seven years or more....

Relationships that has been in the long run can be so ‘routinary’, platonic, boring, and tiring.

There’s this so called 7-year glitch wherein couples experience a very rough road.

When you are in this kind of relationship, the visions may get blurry.

The feelings may fade.

The fire may be iced.

The passion might change.

The love may be gone.

All the plans and goals may be cancelled.

Out of the blue, out of nowhere, you will feel nothing but emptiness and then you will just say, “I can’t make it anymore. Let’s stop here.”

The bravest can be the weakest.

The strongest can be the loser.

You promised you won’t give up but here you are, dropping all the shared memories and moving forward without the other one.

You will just see all the wrongdoings, and will turn a blind eye on all the efforts and the good.

Closing doors, shutting all the hopes and possibilities.

It is just you and no one else.

You will crave for space and enough distance to breathe, to experience again being alone and free.

While the other half may be left clueless, hopeless and broken.

Thinking deep of what went wrong.

What have they done to end the love.

All the while they thought that everything’s okay and yet it’s not.

They will be gone mad, in denial, in anger, in pain and in tears.

But what else they can do, but just to let the love of their lives go.

Some would still try hard so congratulations to those who still succeed to continue what they have started.

And sorry to those who had no choice but to go on parted ways.

Some would find new love in the arms of others.

Some would still choose to be alone and free.

Life will always be unpredictable.

We’ll never know where the journey will take us.

This distance built may either make us or break us.

Along the way, we could find new love.

But somehow, others may cross paths again.

 And in the end, it’s still them who are destined to be together…forever.

Because no matter what we choose in life, we will always run on what we will make us happy.
