New York: A Secret Dream

I just want to share this no-more-secret dream of mine.

And that is to visit ‘the city that never sleeps’…. New York!

This is to document also that few years back, this is really my dream (even up to now).

Who knows, also a few years from now, this dream will eventually come true and I can look back on this blog post I made dated March 2018.

So why did I choose New York as my dream destination?

I think watching American movies that has the New York settings influenced me a lot.

I grew up watching a lot of foreign movies and I will always be amazed of the place that eventually I started dreaming of being there.

The Central Park, the Times Square, The National Museum, the Zoo, the Statue of Liberty, the different tall buildings, the walkways, the residential areas, oh how I wished I could be there. And I know that I will. Someday!

Now, my imaginations gone wilder.

I dreamed of visiting the state and then eventually I can write my own stories which has New York settings because I finally experienced walking there!

This scene of living in one of the condos there, while writing scripts also keeps running on my mind.

They say that when we write and when we read books, it can take us everywhere but then I believe that experiencing it for real is totally a different story.

The more I watched movies with NY settings, the more I eagerly dreamed of getting there.

Oh yes, this is life goal. Someday soon, the Divine Will can take me there.
