After School Program
January 17, 2016
Helping Land, Tondo

For this day, I was the official photographer and I had so much fun! :)

After School Program goes innovative!

For this day we had a two short film watching for the kids. The first flick was entitled “One More Page”. This was about a girl who reads books. Through her imagination, she has gone through different places and adventures.

The second flick was “Soar”. The story was about a girl who created a toy airplane. She tried to make it fly but she failed not until the third time. The movie shows that we shouldn’t give up in aiming our goals/dreams.

Children watched attentively and quietly the whole time. They all really behaved well.
After that activity, kids’ task for this day was to create a paper plane. Inside the plane, they must write their names, their dreams and what they can do to achieve those dreams.

When they already produced the paper planes with the assistance of volunteer-teachers, the kids simultaneously made it fly!

Thank you to our sponsor for the foods during kids’ recess.
And thank you also volunteer-teachers!
